The existing buildings are built from local red sandstone with dressed buff sandstone
features and slate roofs.

Alterations and additions to the existing buildings are identified by new materials, which
include heartwood larch cladding, galvanised steel and aluminium.
The materials will weather over time, blending the buildings into their landscape.
